We were lucky enough to have some glorious weather for the great Style Wars boarding competition at Falls Creek. This year is particularly memorable as it is the tenth anniversary of this, Australia’s premier boarding event. Style Wars has a reputation for attracting all the top international riders and with Slopestyle now being an Olympic event the quality of competition only gets stronger.
We are on day two and have had glorious sunny days. We could have done with some more snow but the park crew have done an amazing job with what snow we have by building some incredible features that inspire the riders and thrill the spectators.
Sunday started with practice runs and the heats started Monday. We were treated to some great action today and tomorrow will be another clear sunny day for the finals.
